Renovation | West University Place, Texas

This late-1930s West University bungalow kitchen was reimagined to maximize function within its existing footprint. By reorienting the outdated layout and opening the kitchen to the dining room, the design creates a more connected and efficient flow. Smart storage solutions like stacked double ovens, integrated pull-outs, and a built-in china hutch enhance usability, while a compact island adds seating. The pantry and laundry functions were combined into one space, and finishes like brick flooring and a subway tile backsplash honor the home’s original character.
