This second home, nestled along the Comal River, is inspired by a deep connection to nature and a desire to gather. Designed to host family, friends, and community within its charming river setting, the home balances functionality with warmth and comfort. The main open-concept living space features generous seating, a tree stump coffee table, and an organic palette that reflects the surrounding landscape. A seasonal porch extends the living experience outdoors, offering cozy lounge seating and a live-edge dining table with a custom bench. We incorporated playful art, stained glass by a local artisan, and shades of their favorite greens throughout. Four bedrooms and a reading nook under the stairs offer opportunities to recharge before heading out to kayak or hike local trails.
